The next USS Truckee reunion will be as follows.

• Circus Circus Hotel (a full service resort)
• Reno, NV (the Truckee River runs through it!)

Why Reno, NV? Because the USS Truckee was named after the Truckee River that flows through Reno. Reno has the resources to handle our large group and they have lots of very cool things for our entertainment!!! All of our past reunions have been held on the east coast. This reunion will give more of our "west coast" and "mid America" crew members an opportunity to attend. YEAH! And the "east coast" people that have never experienced the west... now is your chance. You're in for a real treat!

The 2006 reunion was held in October, 2006 at Virginia Beach, VA. There was a USS Truckee Reunion Memory Book made that was 17 pages long. Below are the scanned images of those pages (in order). Click on a page for an enlarged version. The individual pictures are just a FEW of the Truckee sailors that were there. I don't know why everyone didn't have their picture taken. If you look at the "group shot" on the very last page, you'll see MOST of the sailors... still not all that were there.
